ok, stupid question here, what is a purge kit. I've seen cars at the track with it shooting from the back of the hood right in front of the winshield.

That is the coolest non-performance mod for a cobra I have ever seen!

 

Keep your system ready and free of any air pockets that may develop due to weather changes or if it has been a while since you have last applied the squeeze.

This way they think you have a 500HP modified Shelby GT500 w/ Nitrious
and are less likely to mess with you !!!

I am looking at the same setup, but with a new Cobra block w/ all forged internals and the Saleen supercharger. Your setup is soooooo sweet. Its to for !!!

What kind of HP do you figure your running with a blower AND nitrous? Just curious because I've never heard of anyone using both those power adders at once. All on stock internals? you've got more cajones than me! (probably just lots more $$ and can afford to lose a few rods/pistons/blocks...etc)

 

I can get my motor together then I'll slap in either a Whipple or Saleen
supercharger. Guess where my fake purge nozzles are going to be installed !

Going to look really scarey coming down the road behind any of these import ricers.

 

I started with the Nitrous system originally. Then I added the S/C'er as I wanted more...lol I am not spraying on top of the S/C'er with stock internals. Soon I am changing out pulley's to a 3.2" pulley which will up the boost to 12 pounds. That should put me at about 510 rwhp. I'm gathering up all my parts for a motor build-up at which point I plan to run 650 rwhp with the charger and spray a 150 shot on top of it... Of course there will be a lot of supporting mods to handle this i.e. the drivetrain etc. I want to be able to handle anything that comes my way, import or domestic... I have been saving for this car a looooong time.
