How to remove lower grill in GT?

I have an idea that would require temporarily removing the lower grill, have not had a chance to really stick my head under the car so figured I would ask here in case there are any "don't forget about that hidden clip!"

Thanks.

You can just pull on it carefully and firmly to remove it. I found it helpful to remove the plastic shield on the underside of the bumper so that I could also push from behind while pulling. That's it. No bolts or fancy clips, it's just popped in and needs popped out. Like most things the factory pops in, it's popped in firmly so it may take a little more force than instinct says to remove it. Be firm, but smart/careful.

Is there a center support behind the insert, or is that center piece just the insert?

There is a framework behind it. You can feel the different pieces w/ your fingertips.

Hmm, I'll have to look when I get home. Once I get an idea in my head it bugs me all day, thanks for answering what I could have waited 6 hours to check myself
