I have been waiting on my car for 4 months, and I still don't have a VIN, and I might be able to get the car I ordered except it has the spoiler. My question is:

How much (ballpark) would an average bodyshop charge to remove the spoiler, fill holes and repaint trunk lid?

Ballpark:

.4 (tenths of an hour labor) to remove the spoiler
3 hrs to repair the holes
2.2 to repaint the lid
.2 to remove the emblem, and $32.10 to replace it.
.2 to remove/install the brake lamp
.9 to clear the lid
$62 paint/materials
and in a couple bucks for an enviornmental charge and you're at about or less than $400 depending on shop labor rates in your area.

 

About the same here I got mine done for around $500 but that included painting my CDC ducktail and I installed it myself.

 

If you do not have a VIN yet, call your dealer and have them change the order to spoiler delete. Cost, FREE!

 

I think he meant that there is a car exactly like her ordered on the lot, except with a spoiler...right?

 

Remove the four nuts pull up on the spoiler. Cut the gasket off with fishing line. clean off glue with naptha or goo gone. purchase four plastic plugs for the holes at the hardware store paint them twice and press in the holes. Total cost maybe 15 bucks. I plan to do just that on my redfire.
