I had the same problem and used leather work gloves to (KNEED) the stuff. Finally got it off but in retrospect, if you are covering with a ducktail, why bother.

Well, not really, I'm not covering them with a ducktail... I have something else in mind, but I'll post pics to get everyone's opinion. If it doesn't come out good, I'll just take it to the body shop to get the holes filled

Did you guys know that all the holes are different sizes? some of them look like they missed and they had to make them bigger!
