Wanted to get some opinions before spending $4500. I really wanted 18's - but 19's are the smallest option.

the wheel looks alright, but I don't know about on a 05 mustang?
Not certain, but if they are $4500, then I might reconsider purchasing them for any vehicle.

Yeah.... I hear ya! -- I really wanted to get some black rims (powder coated or something along those lines) not a big fan of chrome. These caught my eye -- just not how sure they would look.

I've got a buddy that can get me the hook up on wheels / tires / balance & mount -- the whole 9 for $4500... not a bad deal considering the rims alone are roughly $1100 a pop  .

I really liked the Beverly Hills edition that were on the Street Scene Stang by GFG, but darn their wheels are expensive. I gotta agree with the supercharger comment.

You can get a set of 4 18" black bullits for $695. That's the total, not per wheel.

I wouldnt. The black Mustang is too plain to begin with. Too much black with no crome. If you put those black rims a black Mustang you want be able to see the body of the car. It will look like one big black box going down the road. But hey, thats just my opinion.

Someone made a valid comment about black rims making the entire area below the fender a void. I agree with that.

as an owner of a Black 05 GT, I've got to say, it takes a big set of ***** to put black wheels on any black car.
If you've got a rice rocket/fast and furious import.....do what you want it's still a piece of ****....but we are talking Mustangs.
-I've only seen one domestic car that was black w/ black wheels, that I thought looked good.
-It was a black 96 Corvette, w/ twin Turbos. The car was a blurr/black box rolling down the road....that's what made it cool....You roll up on it thinking it was a stock vette, w/ an owner who had a bad taste for wheels, and wham, out of no where, that son a **** was doing 100mph, like you were standing still.
P.S. I had an 11 second Mustang at the time.
-------------
To reply if black wheels look good on black cars...Yes, if you car hauls ****.....you can put any color wheel on it you want. If your car is the run of the mill, stock Mustang, probably want to stay away from making your car a blur/black box on wheels.

i like black wheels... but only if they have a nice big polished lip. I'm planning on putting some on mine as soon as i get it. I think black wheels look good, but not those ones, they look a little too "ghetto fabulous" there are a lot more nice black one's out there. PM me if you want and i'll send you some links to ones that i have found.

Now those are nice wheels with the crome. Those would look much better on a black GT

Thanx ALL !!! for the advice & I agree -- now I really like these. IMO I don't know if the black rims would create that much of a void... I actually saw the original rims on a black Magnum & was pretty impressed.

But what's the cost of these bullitts ?? obviously if I was willing to spend $4500 it's not an issue -- but now I can have an idea of what I could do with the change.

Definately would pay 695 for thos rims. Hey if your looking at spending $4000+ on a set of rims, make sure they are exactly what you want. Althoughtheyare extremely ghetto, you might want to invest in some curb feelers to protect those bad boys.
