How about these stripes!

Well, I finally am able to post pics of my Vista blue gt/cs. I went with the black matte stripes to try and match the factory door stripe.

I installed the Roush quarter window louvers and have rear Roush slats ordered for the back window.

I have the driver and passenger window tinted to legal tint. (odd they didn't come tinted from the factory - the rear window was)

I sure get some looks from folks not used to seeing such a unique stang in their little town.

I'm having fun with the mods. Next is an airaid CAI, and chrome frames around the tail lights and 3rd brake light.

Fun, Fun, Fun to drive

Its very subtle. I like it. You didn't want to go a little darker to try and match the door vinyl a bit better?

The stripes look great!!!

I can't decide on stripes yet for my Redfire 2007 GT/CS or if I should get the 1/2" stripes on the inside as well (if I do get the stripes).

Great car!!!

Your car looks great. JMO, forget the chrome tail light bezels. I think it will ruin the look of the rearend.

The matte stripe is a good idea trying to match up with the factory door one. I have a Vista Vert, do you think a stripe which would only be on the hood & trunk, not roof would look odd?

Why not get the black inserts instead of chrome?

I havent seen the black ones, sounds cool though. My pics dont show it to well but the matte stripes match almost perfectly with the factory stripe.

I am trying to find a lower billet to protect the opening down there from small rocks that may do damage to the a/c system. Some other mustang forums have given me some ideas.

Well done, I agree no chrome bezels. Either do the black outlines or some AVS slotted covers from Moss.

Great looking Blue GT/CS. To each his own. I would have went with the gloss black srtipes. Your stipes actually look grey. I will admit the look is different so you have succeeded there if that was your intent.

White CS With Lemans Stripes

The stripes on our car are 10 in. wide with a 1/8 in stripe on the outside of the larger stripes. This is a showboard that I use at car shows.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you going with the airraid CAI?

Those lemans are growing in me. You know how the CS side stripes fade...would be nice to have some just like that in lemans style.

In response to officespace56 I was thinking of going with the airaid cai because I would not need to have the computer tuned. I now am questioning a cai at all, because I don't want to hassle with a check engine light coming on due to the extra air in the intake. Any ideas or experience with a no tune cai (any type)?
