Saw in another thread that Brad Barnett (Owner of the website) said that Ford is not interested in doing the Mach 1 thing again anytime soon.

I think this car is begging for shaker. They used to make a shaker option on the 69 and 70 models for the 390 (69 only), 351 and 428 engines.

Since the Mustang reeks of nostagia, why not do it again?

Two aftermarket companys have already desiged, and are coming out with a shaker system. CDC (the company who designed the system for the 03-04 mach 1s) and another company I can't remember the name of. They should be out soon.

IMHO, I think the car would look great with a shaker sittin' on the hood! I may be biased because I have a 70 SCJ Mach 1 with a shaker. I want to have a "matching set" of Mustangs sitting in my garage. A torch red 05 with a blacked out hood and a shaker sitting next to my 70.

I hope CDC can get thier system to market soon. I saw pictures of the product on thier web site and it looks clean.

The great thing about this car is that it can me modified to fit several diffrent taste. A retro car, a GT racer, an autocrosser, ect, ect, ect.
