Hood Scoop vs. Plain Hood
I voted scoop but only to even the poll up a little bit
If I could get the right one at the right price I would buy it. If I had the cash I would go with a different ram air hood

If it makes anybody feel any better my faker shaker pooper scooper has become a lot loose , so I have not looked but I may ask them to remove andjust have me a hood with NO holes, or I will just maybe get a differnt hood altogether ?
I voted for the scoop. I also own a Mustang II coupe (and happen to love the Cobra IIs), so maybe that's why I have a scoop on my GT/CS.
As a II owner, I am completely impervious to insults from other so-called Mustang enthusiasts about my cars, so me worry about a little nonfunctional hood scoop? Please.
I think people should have an open mind. But whatever. If I cared what people thought about my II, I wouldn't have one.
p.s. I don't want to get off track of the topic because this is a separate debate, but what surprises me most is that people who wouldn't think of keeping their Mustangs stock always criticize Mustang IIs because they were underpowered or had fake this or that from the factory. A II can be modified like any other Mustang.

No Scoop.... mine has no scoop and the hood looks nice and sleek. I also heard that the scoops are causing some drag. The factory scoops also seem to have liften in some sections causing it to hold water under it. This is a big problem since I dont want water running down my hood 100 times after I wash and dry it.
The totally fake bolt-on scoop Ford installs on the new body is just.....bad. It reminds me of Ford's cheap efforts to add 'pop' to the car just like the 1967 Torino (sp?). If Ford wants to add a scoop to the hood why not stamp a new hoop with a built-in scoop like the 1966/67 GTO? It looks a lot better than a bolt-on.
