Looks good. How was the installation? Do you think there will be any problems with the wires smacking against the edge of the hood at speed?

Installation was easy... they use double side tape...
I got them from CDC....
I used my index finger and an inch on each side to line them up... kind of getto but it worked....
The wires are coated with some sort of clear rubber... so there should be no problems....

Are they the ones that are 2 sided taped on?Or did you have to drill the holes in your hood?

CDC don't make functional pins.
Here are some threads with photos of functional hood pins:

Yeah, I would have gone real or not gone that route at all. Ever since I put mine on, I've been asked at least 25 times if they are real... I'd feel pretty silly if I had to say they were fake. I mean, they look good, but what's the point?

Ian,
What did you use to cut the hood liner, How does it look?
That is the only thing stopping me for installing my real pins I havent figured out a good way to finish off the underside of the hood. I want a finished look to it.

Does anybody have a picture of this????

I used a hole bit and a drill. Honestly, it doesn't look that pretty. But, on the outside is covered by the hood pin covers and the inside is covered with the hood insulation. You never see it. I just cut a little hole in the insulation where the hood pin goes through.

Well it "looks" great, but the only problem I see is trying to get out of the car after you park it!! Small garage!
