Holy crap! Someone has a grille like cervinis with fog light behind it

http://www.mustangworld.com/ourpics/News/select4199.htm

How the heck was this done? I have been researching this ever since I bought my car. Obviously, this picture is not some custom show car seems like just an average stang with a grille that I have been looking for!

Does anyone have a clue how this was done?

Thanks guys,
Dan

wow! that looks sick. would be great to see a how-to for that, as well as some night time shots, i imagine it would be sweet looking with the fogs on

It almost looks like a Street Scenes speed grille mounted over top of the factory fogs......

Maybe join the other forum and PM the guy??

I recently joined the forum, but it is still waiting approval. Someone on another forum site was actually the one who first spotted it. And he said that you can message people but the problem is that people use their real names on the galleries in that forum not their forum names. Makes it difficult.

I saw a Shelby GT grill today and it looks the same and it appears that you can mount foglights behind it.

I posted that on another forum. I've been looking for a way to do that for awhile now. I've looked at the Shelby GT and the way they keep the stock grill just remove the fogs since they stick out past the headlight pillars. So really all you need to do is find away to move the fogs back and re-mount them to the stock grill or just make a bracket for them.

The GAS Boss just has the stock grill with fogs moved back and there grill in front of it.

Doesn't look right to me... To each his own. But I think the brings the grill out too far. The grill on S197's actually could stand to be another 1/2" or so back to give it a more nostalgic look. Also, since the grill is so far out there, you can see every bit of the fogs underneath. If it was set back in the grill, the sunlight wouldn't highlight so much of the fogs under the grill. But that's just me. Just seems way to busy. Then again, other than the center fog honeycombs and plain billet grills (ie. cervinis'), I don't think there's any grills out there that look right. They're all too busy. My .02.

It almost looks like the pony emblem on the grill is in front of the fog light.

i agree. also the fogs seem too prominent. i guess you could always tint them so they "disappear" when they are off, but then i am not sure how useful they would be at providing light after that... still, nothing a set of hid fog bulbs couldnt fix.

its just a grille insert/overlay that bells out more to go over the fogs instead of around them

yeah I wish i could do something like this for my car. I have the Cervinis billet grill but it doesnt fit over the stock grill. Even with some "modifications". I really want to get there bottom grill w/the fog lights but they want $525.00 just for the grill and lights! ****

and you probably need their bumper as well....

I'm going to see if I can find a mounting place in front of the radiator for fogs to go behind my billet grile
