is anyone making this badge as a 281 instead of the traditional 289?

Hey Eric, if you haven't yet added the 4.6L emblem to the car, I found something you may want to add. Its a 281 wiith "High Performance" written below. I have this on my MAG plenum cover and love it. Check out the link below (where to buy) and the picture.

I must be heading in the wrong direction. I want to shave off all of my emblems.

 

eric n , I'm not sure what color you got , I have the red ones , but I would assume they will all have the same problem. After about 6 months the red portion started to fade on my first set , so I pulled them off and got new ones. But before I installed them , I got some clear coat and covered the painted part and these haven't faded yet ...
