Hidden Antenna
rrobello mentioned to me at Donut Derelicks, that there is an antenna that is mounted just under the base and mast of the OEM antenna. All you are left with is the little black plastic base.
The problem is, after hours of searching, I cant find one! Anyone know what it is, and where I Can find one?

Wonder how well these work

And, if they do work how would you plug up the existing antenna hole in the fender.

Actually found one on California Mustang for about $30.
I am shaving my handles, and when I do, I am going to have them plug and paint the fender. Until then, I am going to leave the base, and put one of those little nobby jobs in it.
I had a window antenna in one of my cars... cant remember which, but the reception wasnt that great. This one mounts under the fender where the original mast antenna is, so you dont have to re-wire anything.

The AM/FM reception with my built in window antenna stinks on my Accord. I believe some of the loss is due to my tint but my girlfriend has the same car without tint and it isn't much better.
