HID Headlights for a GT-500
Does anyone know if there are HID's availible for the GT-500, headlights or foglights? I'm looking for a kit like the one Saleen makes for the GT.

How well do they work? Is the cutoff decent or do they glare(does the light beam stay around the upper edge of the doors of nearby cars or is it higher?). I'm thinkin the stock housings are perfectly shaped for HID's, just need ONE person to actually give an oppinion on them.

Contrary to what the web site says, those fog light kits will NOT fit the GT-500 fogs which use a propritary bulb that even stock replacements are not available for. I converted to an aftermarket clear lens fog that closely matches the look of the GT-500 and uses an H3 bulb, then installed an H3 HID kit.

Yea, pull alongside a bunch of parked cars(parallel) and see if they go out about 75 yards with the beam cutoff still under the door's bottom window trim on the parked cars(i.e not blinding people). What are the headlights, 6000K?

Better late than never...
The low beam does have a nice defined line since it's in the sweet spot for the reflector's focal length. The high obviously has more scatter and glare. These are in GT500 lights by the way. The difference between these and the stock halogens is literally day and night. By far one of the best mods I've done. I do a lot of driving on dark country roads. It was very easy to overdrive the stock halogens. With these I have no issues.

Are those with the headlights and the foglights? Also could you pm me a price on these?

If they stay under door window trim for a distance I will get them. The reflector design in the mustang's headlight bucket seems natural for them to work decently, since they are designed to prevent halogens from doing what normal conversions do. From what I understand, the more blue, the more glare simply from how light works in general, but I'm not planning on doing anything higher then 6000k.
