Hi-Temp Paint Question
My D/S Rotorpro rotors just came in and I know the zinc coating doesn't do the job as far as preventing all rust. My question is for those of you who sprayed your rotors with hi-temp paint, did you use the stock pads to clear the dried excess paint off? Because I also bought a set of centri posi quiet pads and was wondering if I just installed the painted rotors and used centri pads to clear the excess paint off would it damage or have a negative side effect on my pads/brakes?
I'm triying to avoid having to install the rotors drive for a few days to clear all the paint off then go back in to install the new pads. If it didn't matter I'd obviously prefer to just do it all at once.

I was going to use my stock pads to clean off the paint, but I ended up using my Hawk pads.
It was a little hairy for the first mile, so don't go on the freeway, or far from home.
Stay on open roads, and give yourself plenty of time to stop. You'll be done in no time, and enjoying your new brake upgrade!

So just go for the new pad install at once and take her around the block a few times? Sounds good.
Where did you get your hi-temp paint? And what color, just black or clear?
