Thumbs up

I ordered a set of wheels and tires from tirerack.com. A set of polished ford racing bullet type wheels in 18x9 with 255x45 18 tires.

I ordered this

And they sent me these

Should I keep these? or send them back? the bullets I ordered were completely polished the fanblades are only polished in the rim and edges.
Tirerack dosent even show these fanblades on their website.
I paid 209 per wheel does that seem right for fanblades? I'll guess I'll give them a call in the morning.

So what do you guys think?

Thanks

send those back unless you like these over the other ones, my choice would be the other one it has that Old School look like the Cragers did back in the day

The fan blades will look fine on the car, if thats what you like. But IMHO the 18 inch polished bullets with a set of pony spinners and those tires will look awesome.

Very simple. If you like them then keep them. If you don't, send them back..they made a mistake that is obvious and they should not give you any problems with returning them. I would not wait too long though. They should be able to send you the right rims first and they will include a return sticker to place over the previous stickers and you just drop them off to fedex or ups in the same boxes.

I love the Bullits, dont get me wrong. But the fact that 75% of the stangs on the road seem to have them discourages me from choosing them. I get alot of comments on how nice the wheels(fanblades) look.

Personally, I think they look better than the bullitts. Better than all of them are the stock 17" GT upgrade wheels. I like them more than any other wheels I've seen so far. I can't tell you why, I just love 'em. Luckily, I own my car and you own yours, so you get to put on what you like best and we can both drive around thinking about how we have the best cars

Sorry man - it's just my opinion. I think the blades look like a ceiling fan that landed inside a blank rim. The spokes are TOO wide and look almost cartoonish (to me)... Also since the spokes sit right up on the surface of the rim rather than any attempt at in-setting them just takes away from the retro appeal of these cars.

Then again - it's just my opinion... I think that's what he was asking for..

Bullits all the way. You, like I, have an 05 GT, why make it look like an 06?
