I love the Boss and you do have the Shaker but everything else looks like a GT500. Get a Super Snake stripe.

How about something like the PJ? I like the rocker stripes of the PJ better than Boss stripes.

The SS stripe would be a good option.

IMO your car looks great w/o the stripes. I think that one more appearance mod at this point will make your car look too busy and detract from the overall tasteful style you have going on right now.

Heres mine...

I took the factory legend lime paint, added some moss green pearl, and some metal flake, and 3 drops of black. I shot it at a low PSI so the metal flake would stand up, giving a ' ghost ' affect. the width of the main stripe is centered between the fog lights, the non painted part is the width of the light bulbs inside of the fog lights. Then a 2 inch stripe that faids back to the factory color.

Your car looks great! But if you want to put stripes on it I agree with the super snake stripe on the whole length of the car, not just the hood. A ghost stripe of that type would be the best of both worlds IMHO.

You might try a chop with a blacked out hood and see if you like it. Just a suggestion.

I would do just the hood, if you do anything at all.

Since the motor is not 302 cubic inches nor running a boss block, I don't see the draw to putting down a BOSS 302 stripe kit. Might as well put on BOSS 429. I'd say using something like a 70 Mach 1 stripe kit and put 281 on the stripe to show off the true engine displacement.

I like the BOSS stripe.
I've been toying with the idea of putting them on mine.
Since I don't have a BOSS, I would have custom letters that say BABE, but that's another thread.

That is the best looking stripe I have seen... except for the flame! Without the flame it would be perfect IMO. But it is definitely original and unique. Well done!

I think the super stripe on the hood only would look excelent with the shaker Rob. The BOSS stripe would look out of place with the GT500 spoilers and the side scoops IMHO.

It really comes down to what you want, not what others like or think you should do. I like what I have done to my car. Some others love it, some hate it, but at the end of the day all that matters is whether I like it or not.

Side question: Do you have a rear shot or any closer shots of the rear quarter window scoops?

Thanks, I think, I'm just hitting 40, and I have always wanted a car with flames, so that was my own layout. If you see the car comming, you cant see the flames, just the the stripe. I did that to the car with in 2 weeks of getting it. After 15 coats of clear, theres no ridge, its as smooth as, well you know......
