help installing GT500 hood vent

I need help installing my 10' gt500 hood vent in my 06' mustang gt. I just receved the hood vent today. I have seen at least one of you guys have done this. Here are the questions I have.
1. How do I make the template to trace on my hood so it fits right? (having real trouble with this.)
2. What pieces do I have to cut off the plastic hood vent itself to fit it in the hood? clips? front lip?
3. I have a heavy duty Dremal, will that cut the hood ok?
4. What kind of paint should I use to cover up the cuts in the hood so they dont rust over time?
5. Should I use the sticky tape it comes with to secure it in place? If not, what brand?
Thanks so much if you can answer these.

The hood is aluminum it won't rust. If you want to touch it up get self etching primer.

Wow, looks pretty cool.

Could you get a close up pic to show how high it sits above the hood. I know the Shelby has a recess where the vent sits into so it's flush with the hood.

BTW, where did you buy it and how much?
