I noticed the headlights match the fog lights on the GT. Is the weird plastic cover removable or is it a one piece light assembly. I am hoping it is just for aerodynamics and can be taken off to give the car a more classic look.

This was discussed at length a couple months ago but no the covers can't be removed without having to change the whole light assembly.

It would be nice but I am sure someone will make an aftermarket product for this. I am hoping someone makes an aftermarket taillight assembly that looks like the ones from the concept vehicle.

You'd have to hack into the sheetmetal on your trunk for that.

I'm sure the aftermarket will offer something without the lens cover eventually...

I disagree. It can easily be done using LED lighting. The light assembly could be made to sink into the existing hole whereas the rest of it could be held in place by either 2-way tape or by drilling a few holes into the metal and using bolts. Anyway, I think it can be done. After watching all of the over-hauling shows...anything is possible.

What the aftermarket needs is smoked headlight covers. They'd look great with those foglamps.

I also hope they make cheap foglight kits, because I'm getting a V6

Now I really liked the concepts tail lights, that would be sweet if it could be done, and not cost an arm and a leg.

I'd like to find the GT-R's "Boss" style headlight covers, or headlights in general. And some chrome to put around the taillights (sequential taillights would be nice too)

I'm also not crazy about those HUGE fender wells, the classic mustangs never had those and they clutter up an otherwise very "clean" car.
