Which headlight/foglight combo do you guys like the best.
Stock, Headlights b/o, fogs b/o, both b/o, fogs amber, fogs amber & headlights b/o.
Something to pass the time, until I have more money for mods.

I know alot of people like tint on their lights, so forgive my opinion. I think it looks terrible. Tinted tail lights look bad too. But worse of all, again just my opinion, is color matched tint on the fogs (red, blue ect.). I thought yellow or amber fogs might look good but after seeing a few pictures, it doesn't.
I think the stock headlights along with the whole front end is my favorite part of the S197! If I had one, I'd definately keep the lights stock!
The color foglight depends on the color of your car. Me personally, i'm going with yellow (not amber), because I think it will look good on my car. As for you and your car, I think you would be best off to leave the color of your foglights alone and change out your bumper lights to clear lenses.
i just ordered the light 93% (blocks 7% light) headlight tint and 86% (blocks 14% light) fog light smoke tint from lamin-x.com
i like the looks of the lights, just wanted to tone it down a bit to match my alloy color better. nothing dramatic like a blackout. colored fogs dont go well with the mustang imo.

I finally got rid of the fogs altogether, but loved the GTS covers. Headlight covers seem like a hastle to take on and off. I doubt I would last a week without getting stopped for them around here anyway.
Just to throw in an idea: how about blackout on the headlights with splitters to go for that 1970 look?

HELP!! I've been trolling these forums and searching the 'net for the best fog light covers. I tried tinting them myself, but the curve of the light made it impossible to lay flat. So far, I have not been able to find any 'hard' lenses except for the GTS lens covers - and I don't want the GTS logo. Most everything else I've found is a type of tint, and I'm worried it will look just as bad as my failed attempt.
Here's what I was able to find:

http://www.showlenses.com/cart.php?t...ategory_id=250
Any suggestions??

The ones on my car above were GTS ones, took the sticker right off-just be carefull not to scratch them with a nail. Got them from mossmustang.com. They just friction-fit right in. To take them out I had to use the back of a piece of very sticky velcro tape to pluck them out .
I got mine from showlenses.com. They work great. They go on with soapy water and just peel back off. The owner usually throws in an extra set (different color) if you tell him you are on the TMS.
Excellent - thanks for all the suggestions.
I'm now torn between the Showlenses and the GTS covers. My concern about the GTS covers is that they seem to add a lot of 'bulk' to the light. What I mean is that, it seems they stick out a bit (not as recessed as the light itself).
My concern with the showlenses is that because they are a type of tint - they may not lay flat on the light. As I mentioned above, I tried to tint the lenses myself with miserable results. The lint would not lay flat against the curve of the light. Are showlenses somewhat 'concave' - fitted to the light?
