Today I saw a red V6 mustang from afar. His exhaust sounded raw!! As I came closer, it was lowered; had dual exhaust, and factory painted 14 inch stripes (at least). And it had a "Stang" badge. I pulled up next to it and he had red and black leather seats. I think it had the IUP too. I was too busy looking at his seats. He said he bought it like this.

Is this the first Special Edition, or is this just a V6 with dealer added accessories???

 

It's all dealer. Someone posted a picture of one a few month's back with the "Stang" package.

 

I'm betting dollars to donuts that the dealer did the mods. As of this moment, there are no SE Mustangs

 

A dealer here in Northern CA is selling them, too, at GT-like prices. I saw somewhere that Katskins or one of the other aftermarket companies is offering this package to dealers. I guess it is a way to sell V6s to the more-show-than-go crowd.

So, they're selling a V6 Mustang with all of the add-ons to make it look like a GT and selling for the price of a GT? And they leave out that annoying GT engine for me, for free? Oh boy, where do I sign up?

I've seen a white one on ebay that had a sunroof as well. Total garbage! :notnice:

I saw one for sale with barbwire striping last month. I shed a tear it was so hideous.

 

For 30K you too can have a V6 without that pesky exhaust rumble of the now cheaper GT! Nice wheels, loose the Stang crap.

Jeez...can't believe people buy into that kinda dealer upgrades.

Why not? It is a STANG you know, and that commands respect in the automotive world.

 

in my book the 2005 Mustang is the first "real" Mustang since 1970...everything between then and now has pretty much been an imposter.

I saw one a couple months back at my dealer. The only thing I liked was the
"Stang fender badge. It was unlike an others I've seen for sale, and had a rather jagged/rugged appearance. I bought one from S.S. Inserts, but was so unhappy with it the only place I would consider putting it was in the trunk on my Shaker 1000. If anyone has seen any others, I would be interested to hear.

 

Wow! you mean i can be the first one on my block to have a Venom mustang? Or a Muscle Mustang. Can I put all six of those badges on? I want a Vintage Venom Muscle Speed American Classic Stang!! :clown:
