Has anyone gotten a Bra yet?
Not a big fan of Bra's for a car, but might be a good idea for long trips and such. Trying to keep the rock dinging down to a minimum. Has anyone tried them? Do you like them, are they a pain to put on and off?
Thanks
Thanks
I got mine for long trips also. I have found that you have to let the thing warm up in the sun before attempting to install. Otherwise, you will grunt and groan trying to stretch it on! :bang:

I got one too; just spent about 20 minutes trying to get it on and quit. I'll use it, just not tonight.

A little tip that was shared with me when I got my Pathfinder's lingerie. Put it in the dryer for about 15 minutes then go install it. It will stretch very easy.

Another option is getting the 3M 'clear bra' installed on your car. I have it on all of mine...even the light covers. Parked someplace where I got some type of acid on the light cover on my Focus. Installed just took off the damaged one and replaced. Not sure what would have happened to the plastic light cover......if I had not done this.
B) X-Pel (http://www.xpel.com) 3M Clear Bra, Rocker Panels, rear Wheel Well, Front Bumper, Headlights, Fog Lamps.
Been on for almost a year and still only noticed by 2 or 3 people. Wash at least weekly in local touchless car wash, Used Zaino just like it was paint; no difference seen in the shine
Professionally installed was about $800 for everything. Came with a warranty; even if a rock hits and breaks the light they'll pay for replacement cost up $500 for 5 years

I have the one from Moss Mustang ("Sports Bra") which I kept on until I changed the hood. It was a big pain to put it on every time, it lacked 1" in width and there was no way I could stretch it enough to fit the hood properly, even after warming it up beforehand. Here's a couple pics of it installed, you can see how it doesn't fit the corner of the hood:
I'm currently in the process of modifying it to work with the CDC chin spoiler installed. Have to trim some off the bottom of the lower section & move the elastic straps/hooks. I'll post the results when finished.
Rich, I have the same problem because of the Cervini chin spoiler. I am going to a boat upholstery shop and have them modify/ etend the bottom to fit.
I only use it on trips..but it is well worth the "cheap insurance" to prevent a repaint

For long trips:
Duplicolor and RainX both make spray on temporary smoke or clear bras.
I have used em both... the Duplicolor product is superior and looks pretty **** good when applied properly.
They both wash off with soap and water. The RainX version WILL self destruct if exposed to heavy rain. The Duplicolor version HAS to have soapy water applied to it in order to break down.
