Had a Wreck, makin some changes

Well guys, I had a boo boo. I hit the back of a Nissan Ultima and really did a number to the car. I only hit her doin about 15 maybe....girl took off like she was gonna merge into traffic, so I looked for my spot, gunned her, looked forward and the woman was still there, sitting still. I was not pleased.
Anyway, with my cutom paint ( http://okienga.gotstang.com ) no one would touch it. So Progressive, my insurance company, suggested a GREAT shop, Magnum Collision her in the Atlanta Metro area. The bumper was ripped, the grills were screwed and my Cervini hood was cracked, all in all about 2400 in damage withouot the stripes and hood pin drilling being done.
So I worked with the shop and I decided to go with the Steeda competition front facia( http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...ront_facia.php ) with the optional light kit and the Cervini Ram Air hood( https://www.cervinis.com/product.asp...1&id=1160#1171 )with the same paint scheme I currently have.
Worked out great as it will cost me about 900 for this (500 is my deductable).
What do you guys think? Think it will be a good combo? The cervini front facia looked like it was 'trying too hard,' looked a bit ricey for my tastes

Sorry to hear about you accident, not a good day for cars, my buddy just totaled his camaro today as well. Good luck with all the new stuff, and regardless of the front fascia I think that hood will look absolutely awesome

Talked with the shop yesterday. The hood is FINALLY prepped, they were fighting pin holes in the fiberglass seam. The underside is painted and on the car. The bumper and hood should be painted today. Stripes get laid tomorrow, I will hopefully have it by Friday.

I am STOKED! Can't wait to see how this thing turns out as I hand picked the bumper and hood without seeing them together.

However, you are not gonna believe the price tag.......you ready for this? 4700 without the custom stripe work..........4700!!!!
FYI...here are the correct links:

it more or less was 'tapped' It had 2 cracks a couple of inches above the leading edge of the hood, and one at the base of the false scoop. These hoods are 2 layered meaning they have a bottom and a top glued together, and only the top layer was cracked, bottom was fine.

If you are asking if my other hood had these pin hole issues, the answer is no.

What I'm getting at is, is the Eleanor hood salvageable? If so I might be interested in buying it? Or would you say that I would be better off just buying a new?

It can be salvaged I believe, but it will take some work. The fiberglass is 'cracked' not frayed or pierced. I will tell you what, I will call my body shop and see what they say, AND if they say it could be, I will let you talk with them directly so you can get a neutral opinion.

The hood does have holes for hood pins. They were the steeda hood pins, they cost like 40 bucks and in my opinion, a nice addition to the hood.

GOT HER BACK!!!!!

ok, my site has a few pics on it.....when it is all said and done, I will get some more, but for now this is what I have:
http://okienga.gotstang.com
The top 4 pics are the new fascia and hood....bottom 5 are the old...
good and bad feedback is welcome....
FYI:
The body shop screwed up a few things and the vendors screwed up a few too.

1. I do not like the placement of the lanyards, they will fix that
2. Cervini has the screen for the scoop on back order, I will get those in a few weeks.
3. Steeda did not ship the lower grill insert with the bumper cover. They sent out a replacement and it was damaged in shipping. I will get that in a few weeks too.
4. The switch for the Steeda fog lamps does not work. They are triggered by the stock fog lamps, which means if I turn on those lights I am illegal as u cannot have more than 4 driving lights on at any one time.
