Thank goodness I'm not the only one who hates that neo-retro style of lighting. Whenever I see it on ANY car, I want to take a bat to the tail lights. It's even worse when the front lights are that style too. I don't know how that all started, but I hate it!

 

it depends on where you live, technically there is a law in the books in Cali that pretty much says any modifications done to any of the lights on the car is illigal, this I think is there to stick someone with something when all else fails and only CHP really knows their stuff when it comes to this from what I've come to learn, had one guy pull me over for my blacked out lenses on my 98 once and he quoted me the law from memory when I played dumb....D'OH!!!!!

 

...but you you some idiot is thinkin' "man these taillights will look awesome and some fart-pipes will make it sound awesome, hummm maybe some spinner rims" but wait what can I do to the front of the vehicle??? :scratch:

Saw a W/B V6 05 on Saturday, it was SLAMMED, and I mean, SLAMMED to the ground, had 22s, dont even know the kind of rims it had but they were solid, with a spinner. 'Bout the brightest chrome I have seen on anything, and those taillights. I was sitting at Freds on Main, and I looked down, and at first was like, "Oh look a Windveil Blue 05..." As I got a look at it I felt my lunch coming up.

I used to hang out with this chick, who put those Altezzas on her Malibu.. Yes, she has a Chevy Malibu with Altezzas. When I asked her why, she replied, "Cuz it looks like a Lexus at first glance with those." The joke is, everytime we see a car with them we say, "Oh, is that a Lexus??" Normally a POS Honda.

Last visit to WalMart, my daughter (who is forever harrassing me about my car) comes running up to me in the automotive section... she has a big box in her hands, and she shoves it in my face and yells at the top of her lungs, "MOM! PUT THESE ON YOUR MUSTANG!!!! THEY SPIN!" It was a set of 4 spinners... for a whopping $34! She about peed her pants laughing when she saw the look on my face.

 

Man those are so sweet. If I didn't order the CDC shaker I would get those to finish the car off

I sort of like them. Cant really tell till you see them in person. I dont understand why all you dog that type of mod. So many cars out there have them. So the foreign cars had them first. Oh well. Are you all so biased on the mustang that you cant put anything on it that a foreign car would have. Well since a foreigner had a lot to do with the new design of are mustangs, seems quite rediculous ******* these type of mods. But too each his own.
