GTS Front Covers

I've seen a bunch of photos of the taillights but has anyone put the GTS covers on the front? They look pretty dang dark to me and it seems they would affect driving conditions but they re also amazing looking

I had them on my black 05 (Lund brand but same thing) and if I was driving LONG distances at night, truthfully, would take them OFF because of how much they cut down on the headlights....

For short distances, the fogs helped out enough.......
They look awesome though

wow.... that look so sweet... I was thinking about getting the GTS taillights and then using a film for everything else.... but IDK if I can resist this.

One more question to throw in.... where the best place to buy these?

so they ARE made to be taken off and on? that was the main thing holding me back, but if you can take them off and on, i think i will have to pick myself up a set.

oh, and if you take it off, are the fasteners or whatever visible? thanks.

Caleb - most places seem to sell them for the same price - see if you can find a place with free shipping and go with that. ALSO - get the GTS brand not the LUND like I did - the GTS logo PEELS right off.....

The LUND name is painted on

Gary - the fronts are so easy you wouldn't believe - one notch fits under the lamp assembly between the bucket and the front fascia - the top clip flexes, you 'snap' it on top of the headlight bucket - DONE

You can't get to them without popping the hood so they are secure from thieves. But taking them off literally takes 10 seconds a side....

This is the cheapest place I found the fog light covers I have on my car.
I can only assume they are cheaper on their headlight covers.

$68.96 with s/h.

Chuck-man!!

Pretty easy - the clip under the tail light bucket and then attach to the top with as piece of velcro - this hooks to a small piece you stick to the top of the bucket. Undo the velcro, pull off the top, unclip from bottom, and done.

I purchased my foglight covers (31.95), tailight covers (37.95), and rear blackout panel (37.95) from www.mustangextras.com. They dont show the fogllight covers on the website so you have to call them. their Headlight covers are 37.95 also. They have free shipping if you order over a 100.00. Real good people to deal with. I think shipping would be 8.00 if you dont order over the 100.00 amount.

I almost ordered the tail light covers until the guy at california mustang told me that they had a bunch returned because they fall off while driving and are made for show only.

No they don't 'fall off' - and if they did, how the hell are people going to return them? They would fall off while driving (apparently) and there is no way to know until you get where you are going.........

Don't listen to the sales rep - you want 'em, get 'em....

Why would the company try to stop me from ordering an item if it didn't have an issue?

Maybe because its the same company who sold me and my brother an SN95 tonneau cover we got for my pop's birthday two years ago - that arrived with two obvious different sides from different kits.......

And then took me a MONTH to get any kind of refund or action taken.....

(plus they had already had complaints about that cover from customers but still kept selling them from that supplier...)

Don't ask me man - I am only telling you what I know - repeated 95- 100mph runs down the quarter mile, fast highway driving in high wind..... those rear tails won't go anywhere......
