I haven't cared for any of the body kits, wings, or fake scoops, but I kinda dig this hood since it's supposed to be functional. It's made by RK Sport.

I like the looks of it, even though this is old news. I definately would like to see an under the hood shot.

Also, one thing that still upsets me is I see all of these aftermarket hoods and yet none of them have spots for the windshield washer jets. I don't know about you guys but where I am from you need them a lot, especially this time of the year.

Ghetto: can be used as geographic description of historic sites, but using as it is in this thread it is insulting racially, and religiously. We have to do better. This is a great forum and this is degrading all of us including yourself. Think about this before you flame me.

We can also do better than marinating ourselves in political correct hogwash and hypersensitivity...

I am sure many of the people on this board placy CDs in their car that do far worse than calling a CAR PART "ghetto."

What adults do in their car is none of your or my business, in public discourse it's everybody’s. It is part of civility and citizenship which has noting to do with “Political Correctness†(which is phony) this is about human interaction with “People Correctness†(which is real).

In the end I would just like this Forum to maintain its quality, if you every visited other Mustang forums, most have tanked.

That hood is on a postcard size sample of mods I have in my hand from CDC. It comes in a complete fiberglass new hood or as a mod to your original hood. I believe the latter doesn't mess up the washers.

Unfortunately it does mess up the washer jets....and it is not the same as the one posted above. It is a little skinnier and not the same angle at the front as the one above. Also the CDC one has signals on the back side, why, why, why.....does everyone insist on adding rice to something that is nice.

69-70 Mach 1, non-shaker, also had turn signals in the hood scoop.

That's what I have in mind! I'm going to my dealer tomorrow to order another hood from ford. You can't beat the aluminum for wieght and strength qualities. I also want to fashion it like the concept hood but a little more retro. I see no reason with the awsome curveature of this hood, that the scoops need to rise above the plane of the hood. I will channel the air to the intake to make it functional. I used to weld and fabricate aluminum at work so it should go pretty well (hopefully)...I'll post pic's when i'm finished.

BTW: I do like the posted hood!
