Hey guys, anyone have an idea on what i can use for the Shelby Gt500 steering wheel emblem? I was wondering if anyone knew of someone who made the same emblem, in an overlay or something. I found out that the OEM emblem, is part of the air bag assembly and would run about $600-$700!! All i want is the logo!! I just finished my Shelby tribute conversion and really would like this to complete the look inside..... any ideas??

 

having seen a wrecked Mustang with the airbag popped.. i had a chance to look behind the emblem and noticed that it's gonna be near impossible to remove the Pony badge without damaging your airbag cover.. let alone risk blowing the airbag :S

i'd love to see a solution, as i want one myself!

 

and give KC the business. What is the sense in doing the exterior conversion and then going cheap on the interior.

Am trying to figure a way to switch my interior to black and do the full conversion myself.

 

$600 just for the airbag..... no thanks!

 

You could try to sell your current airbag to make up for some of the high cost.

 

Selling original parts on ebay will offset the costs of many of our mods.

Yeah, i already looked into that, i e-mailed them to find out if they can do one for me, they replied that they were trying to do it already but it will not happen because there was just too much detail for such a small graphic.....
