My two choice are the pre-painted one from AM or the carbon fiber one? The difference in price is $75, and I wouldn't paint the carbon fiber one. My car is Satin Silver btw.

 

What is your reason for wanting the carbon fiber??? Do you track your car and are wanting less weight? Or do you just want to be able to say..."oh and my spoiler is made of CarbonFiber"

Seems silly to me. I'd just save the $75 and get the regular painted spoiler.

Yes I do track days in Indianapolis. I've stripped out the interior. Honestly there is a 3lb difference between the two. I'm looking for opinions not criticism.

 

Carbon Fiber seems ricerish to me but I like it sometimes. Do you have any pics? Or what website

 

There are some many spoiler options out there. If you hve already down selected to these two options and if both of these achieve the same functionality go with the lighter one.

 

Look on eBay at the pre-painted ones. They're around $100 and the paint is good. Way better than any ridiculous price everyone else is asking for

That's the one. They have also had some CDC ducktails on there already painted. They're more expensive but I think they have your color... Could be wrong. Just in case you wanted to be different than the rest of us

 

Does it include everything? Like the bolts, 3m tape, etc..

 

Comes with 3M & some bolts. I ended up buying bold that where a little bit longer & locking washers. I wouldnt even bother with the outside bolts though. Your supposed to drill 2 more holes but I'd just skip that part.

You might read what their description says but I think you message them and make sure they have the color and just message them after you buy

 

I meant nothing nasty about my comment. I was simply asking if you tracked the car. I'd go carbon fiber if looking at the weight.

 

I went with the "OEM", very easy swap from the GT spoiler.

 

Got mine on eBay pre painted from thespoilerstore was only $110 with shipping, fits and looks great!!

 

That does look good! Hmm now that there a $200 difference between that and the carbon fiber I might get that and use the money left over on other parts. Wonder why AM is $300??

 

because they can and people will buy it that arent smart enough to look elsewhere lol
