Hey guys,

As some of you know, my brand new 05 GT (sonic blue) got smacked after 200 miles were on it. Long story made short, i need a new front facia and hood. Does anyone know of any way in being able to order or get ahold of a 2007 GT500 hood or alike? I figure this would be a good time to upgrade hood/facia..and although I can't really find any facias that strike my fancy, the GT500 and Saleen S281 hood's are pretty sweet....in any case, any feedback or input is appreciated. Thanks!!

Erik

I think you'll be hard pressed to get a GT500 hood for a couple reasons.

1. The final design for the hood isn't decided on yet. There are a couple different versions going around on the few GT500 pre-production/concept cars.

2. Due to the shape and rise of the different grill opening, it probably wouldn't fit a GT's grill/headlight setup.

I personally, had a similar situation (wrecked into after having it for 9 days) and I went with the Xenon front bumper cover. I'm really happy with the concept car look. It'd go great with the hood mentioned above too.

Is the Xenon front bumper cover fully replaceable to the OE front bumper cover? Any additional brackets or anything needed??? My car's at the dealer right now so if I wanna do this stuff I gotta act fast and make sure its easy for them to do. Also, how long did it take your stuff ordered from this site to ship????????

Everything necessary was included. The body shop I had my car at said it was a quality piece. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was every bit 7-10 days to get it from Cali to Texas, but there was a shipping issue (because they couldn't ship it truck freight to my door), which was easily solved by having it shipped straight to the body shop.

I got mine from here:
