The biggest Job was the side scoops, as i wanted them to mold into the body rather than stick out as an add-on.
this involved some extensive fiberglass work but the result was great.

Did they say it was hard to mold in the scoops?

they didn't have to say anything.. i was there myself every step of the way
the process isn't particularly difficult.. just apply the fiber glass resin, cut the excess around the edges, let it dry (couple minutes) and sand it off
it just need someone with an eye for detail.. and of course, having the whole side of the car repainted, effectively raising the cost of the process probably times 3

Everything is painted, and being fitted back on..
I'm masking the stripes now, which turned out to be such a PITA!

thanks Mike..
i'm doing the full conversion at the "Al-Tayer Motors" Bodyshop
they're the dealers for Ford, Mercury, Lincolin, Range Rover, Ferrari, Maserati, etc..
so there's always some great company around, not to mention the expertise some of the guys there have.. some have done training at Ferrari in Italy
mastermech1: current rough estimates are around $3500 USD for the full job, including the fitment of the GT500 parts, paint, stripes, fiberglass work, etc.
