GT500 Conversion Completed
Well, it's done. The paint & body shop had the car for 16 days. They finished it up at 8:30 Friday night. That was cutting it close for me to take it to the Autofair Saturday morning. I'm very happy with the quality of their work.
Thanks to KC for helping me figure out the final few fasteners & wires I needed!
I also installed 36 sq ft of Dynamat Extreme under the backseat & in the trunk today. Not sure it made much of a difference in road noise, but it's hard to tell with the top down. Here are some pics:

i keep tryin to get myself away from liking the GT500 front (mostly because i know its lil costly for me to do haha). But man that just makes the mustang looks so tough!

Thanks everyone. I'm surprised that the painted front splitter made such a difference in the look of the car. It's definitely the #1 thing people comment on.

Congrats on the conversion. It looks outstanding.
I also considered painting my splitter when I did my conversion. I decided against it since its such a rock and chip magnet. Also, I strongly suggest backing into parking spaces. Otherwise you'll scratch it and it will really stick out badly.

Looks real nice. Thought about painting the front splitter too. But I'm glad I didn't cause mine got scratched from when I was hauling the car on a trailer. Sucks to be lowered sometimes.

I tend to like stripes all the way through the car if I were to have a painted diffuser and chin spoiler instead of having those parts painted red. It's an interesting take, though.
Also, that "In Process" picture looks pretty bad in the front there. It's looks like it was cracked in the front. Hopefully you got that taken care of and it doesn't crack again later...
Other than that the white came out pretty nicely covering up that red. I bet that cost a pretty penny to have it repaired and painted... Looks like quality work!
