GT500 18" Replica rims installed

Got these nice rims from Americanmuscle.com. Makes me wonder if I would go and re-install a GT500 front Fascia w/ gold stripes....... But Im happy with the Hertz -look of my front end. Let me know what you guys think?

Your own take on what the Hertz should have looked like would be cool. I love the GT500 front bumper so I think it'd look good. Besides if you were going with a true Hertz replica you should have gone with the GT/CS front bumper. If you go look a few threads down there is a guy that did the GT500 front with the black and gold combo, looks good. It's the thread about the GT500 install by 2L8IWON.

Looks good. Now change the center caps. I think Ford Racing would go good with the theme and having the PBF badge on there also.

I don't know the design balances out real nice. It's going to be hard to beat, even with a Shelby front end. I agree with Darkfire though on the hubs.

Let us know about the center caps? I am leaning towards a set of these rims myself.

Thanks for your comments. I was wondering if the "Ford Racing Wheel Caps" at American Muscle would fit. Dont want to order something that wont fit. Is there someone selling the black SVT caps?

The silver Ford Racing caps fit GT500 and FR500 wheels perfectly. I bet they'll look good. It'd be something different.

They will look nice with the Ford Racing caps. I ordered the 18x9 chrome GT4 wheels from American Racing along with the Ford Racing center caps. What do you think? And yes, there is a wheel and a car in the picture.

Sweet ... I was also just looking at those rims over at American Muscle! Which tires did you go with?

I went with 255/45-18 Pirelli PZero Nero M&S tires. In other words, 18 inch versions of the stock 17 inch tires. I figured they were the best compromise for where I live (PA) and the fact that I don't want to have to switch tires every fall and spring. If summer tires are all you need, I'd go with Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance tires.

Glad everybody has liked the pictures! The cutie is my stepdaughter. I just wanted to post some pictures with her to show her that she would make a great model.

I like what you have going but on another thread theres a picture of a GT500 front bumper and gold strips and I think it looks killer.

My vote is the GT500. Nonetheless you have a great looking car.

The car looked great with the other wheels, but now that you have the GT 500 wheels, how about keeping the stripes and adding the Gt 500 bumpers and make your version of a hertz-GT 500! that would be kind of cool!!!
