Hi and hello!

Is there an option to order the new Mustang GT without these "big" foglights?
I think the new V6 looks more like the traditional Mustangs, so i think it would be nice to have the V8 under the hood and the "standart" front of the V6.

No there is not an option, the list of options is found on the Order Guide sticky thread at the top of the main page.

However, look into an aftermarket modification (called mod) at removing or moving the foglights, should you not like them.

I didn't like them at first, but they have kinda grown on me. I doubt that is an option, but I may be wrong. Haven't heard anyone mention that on here. You could always take them off. If they can't be removed without it looking bad, you may find some that want's to swap grills.

EDIT: He beat me to it

As it was said before, the best and, well, only option is to swap it out for a V6 one from a V6 owner who wants the fogs. Another option will be to wait for aftermarket grills to become available.

edit: Oh, that's been said too, well then, to be original: ANOTHER option would be to spraypaint over the fogs. Why? I dunno. It would look horrible, but hey, I needed to think of something original fast.

Welcome to the boards.

It should be under 50 bucks to just order the V6 grille and just swap them out. I bet it takes 30 minutes or less... I am kinda with you on this. I love the idea of the spoiler delete, fog delete... Just big wheels and big exhaust!!!!

I think they look good but if Ford was willing to do a rear spoiler delete, why not a fog light delete also? I'm with HammyZTS, big wheels, dual exhaust. Simple, fast, and to the point.

Start up this topic again....maybe they are saving that idea of no fog lights, no spoiler, and 17" wheels only for a GTS version.

American Muscle welcome to the board. I like the call name. American V8 power is the reason I am a mustang fan.

edit: That officially makes me a Mach 1 member

That's a GT. Most classic Mustangs didn't have lamps in the grille.

I hate to break it to you Brad but, just like how the old GT has fogs, the new GT has fogs. Admittedly, the GT was a handling package in the 60's. Now it's the base V8 model. Doesn't change the fact that the GTs of the past did have fogs, as will the new one.

I love the Fogs.

At least people will have no mistake about what is coming up behind them and ready to pass at night.

the fogs are something that really, in my opinion, make the GT stand out more than the V6. i dont see why anyone would want to remove them.

Um, because they detract from the beauty of the car? Because they're too big in relation to the headlamps? Of course, these are "all in the eyes of the beholder" but having seen it in person, I'm looking forward to removing them when I get my GT. Just a grille away from being done, and I bet I can just order it as part of the deal. "I'll buy the car, just include one v6 grille in the trunk and it's all good!"

We're not  man. Just differently opinioned.

Most Classic Mustangs have had some sort of Fog Light, or Driving Light in the Grill.

So, do you guys that dislike the fogs on the curent GT also disliike the ones on the 69 mustangs. I'd say the fogs on those two car's are about the same size.
THE FOGS A BEAUTIFUL ON BOTH!!

I know the GTs have fogs on classic and late model Mustangs. I said most classic Mustangs did not have lamps in the grille. Most classics were not GTs.

well, since my dream car has been a 69 mach 1, there is no way that am going to touch those fogs.
