I just dropped her off at the shop. i am having a cervinis ducktail, gt500 chin spoiler and xenon side scoops painted and installed. Hopefully I should have her back by wed. Will post some pics. Now a question. Should I keep the 8" stripes, or change them out to 12". Oh yeah, the car is a satin silver vert, with gloss black 8" stripes with 3/8th's pins on the sides. Thanks,

thanks. Went by the shop today and they didn't paint the parts yet. Hopefully tomorrow they will do it.

you have no idea, or maybe you do. Again, I went by today and the parts are panted, but stll have to use epoxy to secure the side scoops and drill the trunk (ouch!!!). Can't wai to get it back so I can take pics and then put her n the garage.

 

Although not as impactful as getting those type of parts, the parts listed on my "pending list" are sitting in the garage and not had the time yet to start any installin'. But in no big hurry knowing that winter is almost upon us here and will more than likely wait until after the crazy holiday season to start the fun. And maybe by then, more of the wish list will make it to the pending pile:-)

Still not done. **** guy wanted to wait until after gobble day. Gonna go there tommorrow and be a little unfriendly if need be. At least he doesn't have my car. I also just ordered a set of 20" foose nitrous in chrome with nitto rubbers. All this so she can look pretty in the garage. Pictures are sure to come soon.

No pics since the parts are still in primer. I saw them today and got some story about how they needed to be sanded and prepped. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that true with all body work? I don't think they were planning on doing anything until I showed up in a less then polite way. So now it stands that tommorrow they should be painted, hopefully. My wheels won't be here for at least another week, but those I can wait for. I even charged my camera up . Trust me, I am just as eager to get these little pieces of plastic on the car as the next guy modding his/her stang.

soon. They are dragging there feet but I saw the ducktail all painted and all the chin spoiler needed was another coat and clear. I am past the point of angry and now its just a waiting game. I am going by again today, hopefully with painted parts ready for install.

 

Hope everything works out, i having a similar problem with my suspension right now but lets see how that goes.

 

Here are some pics of mods in progress. The chin spoiler isn't painted yet, and the side scoops aren't mounted. But the ducktail is mounted and painted. I just need to stripe it tommorrow. Slowly it's comming along. More as progress continues.

 

dude, they had your car for three weeks to paint and install those simple parts? hope they gave you a really good deal.

 

They didn't have my car for that long. They had it for 2 days to test fit everything. And I got a great deal. All the paint and installation of all my parts including the springs cost me nothing. Not one penny. So I can't complain about how long it took, or is gonna take until done. Still need more parts installed.
