GT emblems

The mounting holes in the fender for the GT emblems, do they run up and down or side by side and and whats the spacing? I'm looking to replace them and need to know before I take them off and order something retro to replace them.

thanks,
jb

I'd like to know this as well. I am thinking they are vertical because the Cobra is supposed to fill the same holes or so I heard/read somewhere.

The holes run up and down at the bottom and top of the 'G' on the inside by the 'T'. The two holes are about 1 1/4" apart and they are offset about a quarter inch. Sorry I don't have a pic!

pretty much any normal fender emblem will cover them unless they have very thin lettering.
