GT 500 14" Brakes and Carroll Shelby C67 Wheels, HELP!!!!

I can't believe these wheels won't fit over the calipers! I have never been so ****ed off in my entire life! Has anyone else tired to fit these brakes with these wheels? If so do I need to get a spacer and what size? Also do the wheels stick out with the spacer?

Instead of going with bigger rotors and calipers try this

Hawk Performance Pads

Street Pads with 20-40% more stopping power http://www.hawkperformance.com/performance/hps.php

or

One step down from fulll race pads http://www.hawkperformance.com/performance/hpplus.php

Plus stainless steel brake hoses no volumetric expansion D.O.T. approved means you'll get the juice to the calipers!http://www.steeda.com/products/stain...rake_hoses.php

D.O.T. 4 brake fluid, higher boiling point less fade under repeated stops.

If you think you need more try a set of DBA two piece rotors less weight (rotational mass) means you will accelerate faster and stop quicker!http://www.dba.com.au/2006/products_5000.asp

dude i think he already has the kit so there is no use turning back unless he wants new wheels or return the brakes and pay the restocking fee. the best thing is to pay the restocking fee because spacers will make the front wheels stick out some, further than the rear wheels

i been researching 14" brakes too....fitmet is a problem for stock GT wheel offset.

another option is the Baer 14" eradispeed 2-Plus system.

14" brakes, 2 piece, using existing calipers. Around $560 from nino sport.

since it uses existing caliper, it will certainly fit all wheels.

Claim way lighter than stock as well and significant stopping power as it gets hot over the stock rotors...

im sure with hawk pads and steel lines, this will kick butt!

And...look great with big 20" wheels
