Group Buys on Street Scene '05 Body Kits
#1
Muscle Car Direct has recently made large purchases of the new '05 Mustang body kits from Street Scene and we want to pass on group pricing to Brad Barnett / Mustang Source members. All of the components in the body kits are already being offered at very competitive prices, but Muscle Car Direct has set up a group buy where Brad Barnett members will receive an extra 5% rebate to their credit/debit card once 10 members have purchased that part (e.g.- 10 Duck Tail Spoilers, or 10 Gen 2 Louvers, etc.). In addition, Muscle Car Direct will offer a 10% rebate to any 10 or more Brad Barnett members who purchase the entire body package (Front Bumper Cover, Side Skirts, Gen 1 or Gen 2 Louvers, Duck Tail Spoiler & Rear Valance Lip). Everything is in stock except the new Gen 2 Louvers which will be available in about 2 weeks. Check this thread: Gen 2 Louver thread. Pics for the V6 kit are coming soon, but meanwhile you can see the complete GT kit at: MuscleCarDirect.com. When ordering, be sure to mention you are a Brad Barnett/Mustang Source member in the "Comments" section of the website's order screen or when calling our sales team at 1-888-800-8314. We want to be your "Mustang Source" for this kit. We look forward to hearing from you! [attachmentid=20223][attachmentid=20224][attachmentid=20225]

Frank, I for one am very interested in the Street Scene ducktail. I was actually browsing your site earlier today and saw that you have it for $250. That is a great deal. And if me and 9 others here buy it from you, I'll take the 5% off too. I really don't see it being hard to get at least 10 of us here to buy that ducktail. It's cheaper than the CDC one by a good bit, and in my opinion looks better than the CDC version because it's a little taller. Plus, you get to keep your stock third brake light so you don't have to install the fugly LED light bar. LED's do not belong on the outside of a Mustang IMO. Oh, another reason to get the SS over the CDC is that you don't have to use screws and drill holes into your car. I believe the SS kit comes with screws if you want to use them, but Mike at Street Scene said that you don't have to screw it on and that you can just attach it with the 3M tape only. That's another plus. I will be ordering mine tomorrow.

[attachmentid=20276]Thanks for the feedback. We'll pass it on to Street Scene. We think you're right. Street Scene did a nice job of keeping the Duck Tail Spoiler "true to form" without getting into trouble with the government. With Street Scene's part, the factory 3rd brake light is tastefully integrated into the design. The CDC spoiler looks pretty good but requires that you relocate your 3rd brake light to keep "John Law" happy! Most Mustang guys with a healthy right foot see enough reds and blues in the rear view...why invite trouble? And why should you have to replace Henry Ford's 3rd brake light on account of an aftermarket add-on anyway? Answer: You shouldn't if they thought it out and did the math. $249.95 is the price on the Street Scene part from Muscle Car Direct with another 5% off for 10 or more Brad Barnett / Mustang Source members. See it at: MuscleCarDirect.com .

Pics for the V6 kit should be coming to us from Street Scene by next week. They've been waiting for some sunny weather to take the shots. Everything really looks the same as the GT kit, aside from the GT lights in the grill area which you can add with the Ford parts. Also, the rear valance lip is set up so you can use either factory single exhaust or aftermarket dual exhaust. Street Scene is the only brand that gives you that option. Prices are the same for the V6 parts as the V8 GT parts.

I remember reading in an earlier post that SS was working on a ducktail that covers up the factory spoiler holes. Any updates on this? I know the Xenon ducktail covers it up but I like the angle of the SS one. Also, do we have the option to get the wings prepainted in factory colors?
