Me too!! Love'em... not quite sure about the top louver as it's angle is a bit odd... but it sure do make it purty...

Got'em at 3:30pm and installed in about an hour... What'a ya think?
Your car looks sweet. You have put together the perfect combo of mods.

What do I think? THAT is one nice looking car - well done mate. I mean seriously, wow. The white letter tires, the louvers, the blackout panel between the tail lights all come together and look great
Wow .. thanks bro, appreciate it for sure... this is the look I'm sort'a going for...
Got the hood scoop too... now I'm work'n on the rear spoiler, maybe painting it black or getting a custom black decal to go across the top and a front black chin spoiler..

nice, love the white letter tires, real old school. Only thing that is meh is the 4.0 on the back, but its more I wouldn't do than I don't like.

Overall, very well done car. B)

[EDIT: I've seen the a rear spoiler of the type on the `69 Mach somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.]

[EDIT v 2.0: sorry no luck, perhaps it was just taken from an old Mach and mounted]

I see your white letter tires are Goodyear but what size are the tires and where did you get them. I asked everyone for raised letter tires ands know one had them.

Got at the local goodyear shop..
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...gle+%231+NASCAR
they are 235/55R16, they do have a 285/55R16's, but are special order, as these were as well... RWL tires are real hard to find, only goodyear and firestone have them anymore.

Thanks... but it'd probably cost more to buy a replica Mach 1 spoiler, than to paint my black? It's probably a few more months before they start making a chin spoiler for the V6 too...

That yellow is a sweet package. (I also like the black mach on yer page). Ya gonna add the "Mustang" lettering across the back?

P.S. for those who checked out the link to the Astra Hammond louvers. I spoke to one of the guys at their shop. From his description, it sounds like they attach in the same manner as the Visus louvers. He said they are scheduled to start shipping in about 3 weeks.

you can't get the raised white letter tires in 17" only 16. So if you have an 8 Cyl. you are out of luck. I knew I searched all over for them before I bought the Nitto tires.

Dang, that blows... guess I would have found that out if I had upgraded my wheels to something other than what I got stock on my premium package? I liked the wheels I have with the spinners on'em, but I also like the 17/18 inch bullit wheels too..

Maybe if enough folks ask about'em (email Goodyear, Nitto, Firestone, etc.. and the others...) maybe they'll make'em in the bigger sizes? I like'em but would like the Nitto tread pattern

Winterhawk:

Let me say that I have never been a fan of yellow cars. As a mater of fact I have actually considered yellow as my worse color on a car. However, I think you have changed my mind with what you have done to your Stang. It looks beautiful!!! I really love it. From all the cars I have seen here I would vote for yours as the best turnound Stang!! Great mods!! You have made some great changes that have kept it original. I just cant get over it!! I love it!!! Your car is one that would turn my head and not many cars out there can do that to me including mine.

P.S. April/EleanorsMine: Here are some ideas for your car.

I noticed the top slat is a little higher than the roof line, that must make a lot of noise (whistling) while driving. What kind of louvers did you get? and is it alum or abs? MRT's price I thought was awfully steep and $90 to ship is high too.
I found a site that is selling the alum (Astra Hammond) for $250 and $48 shipping but not sure I want it, if it sticks up over the roof as yours does.

here is the site:
http://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/AST10612.htm
I picked up on this also and not sure if I like it being higher. I wonder if this was done to change the wind stream back there?

Okay, I never thought about getting the rear louvers before but I really like them. However, I don't like the first panel so I will wait for the next generation to come out. Guys, your cars look awesome.

WOw.............did not think the back louvers would look good on yellow, but boy oh boy was I wrong about that one. That looks awesome. Great job. I will have to see what my MRT louvers look like first, and then maybe go with the rear black one.

NICE JOB!!!!!

Now you know why I did not tint the rear window. Hope I get mine first as I seem to be a step behind you in our area. LOL
