Got all my exterior mods done

I bought my Mustang 3 weeks ago, and got all the planned exterior mods finished today. I'm keeping it low-key and a little stealthy, since most of my money is going to be spent on performance mods. I bought the car with the intention of building it for the road course. I wanted to stay with a Cobra theme, but not get too wild.

Exterior mods include Razzi window scoops, Carroll Shelby C56 wheels, Goodyear F1 tires, Street Scene grille, 8" antenna, Cobra fender emblems, and Cobra gas cap.

I guess the Cobra emblems are just as bad as poser Boss stripes on anything other than a BOSS...

JonW,

I think your car looks great. Very clean! Im not a fan of the upper side scoops ( I like the glass like the '66 Shelby GT 350s. )

Those all wanna be bosses too?

It's a wonder all of these badge-happy crybabies are able to use a computer. It's looks great Jon! Just enough to stand out in a crowd. Now all you need are some brakes, seats, a bar and harnesses and you'll be good to go! If you're going to track your car (I know you ARE going to...) don't do the tint. A lot of programs frown upon tint since it can affect the ability of other drivers to see your hand signals.

Sharky,

I was referring to the avatar of SonicBlue2005GT:
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/image....ine=1184530977

He made the remark "Cobra badges on anything other than a Cobra. "

I thought it was silly that he says that when the car in his avatar has
"BOSS" style striping but Ford didnt make a BOSS between 2005-2007...

hence my SARCASTIC remark: "Cobra emblems are just as bad as poser Boss stripes on anything other than a BOSS... "

DonW, what kind of rims are those ? I also agree with a earlier member, you need some tint.

ummm, the car in his avatar doesn't have any stripes, it's just a Sonic Blue GT.

Even if it did, I think most people would agree there's a huge difference between using styling cues from other cars/models such as stripes, spoilers, wheels, etc and putting a badge on your car that flat out labels it as something that it's not.

To the OP, car looks great man, but there's nothing stealthy or understated about cobra emblems. You want a stealthy car that will surprise people, put some V6 emblems on it and then supercharge it.

Yeah, the car in the avatar definitely does have stripes. Look closer!
Maybe he will be kind enought to post a larger picture.
Also, he said he wanted it a little stealthy. Without the Cobra
emblems he would be full stealth.

I really like those rims!
