I decided not to immediately replace the exhaust system on my car when it gets here, but think the tips look too small in the valance. This led me on a search for 4" tips. I found and ordered these 4" Magnaflow SS tips for $23.75 each. It was the best price I could find...thought others might want to know about it.

I just looked at Ford Accessories Store site and they have them listed at over $100?????each. Guess it must be the diamonds/rubys in the tips?

 

That can't be right, people have been buying them for about $90 for the pair.

I was looking at partShopper's flowmaster 4 inch tip. They are the same price as the ford tips (around 44 dollars). The tips are double walled rather than the magnaflow tips you mentioned. They are backordered and should be back up on the website in a week or so.

Will they stick out because they are 4inches and the acutal pipe is 2.5? how would it be different than a double walled tip?? I dont want it to look like a tip, will the one I want look like a tip or more like an exhaust pipe?

Here is a picture of the flowmaster tips I am considering. Also what else is out there/ what other tips will fit the 05??

 

I got my GT last week and was looking for different tips. I thought since the stock exhaust is 2.5" that is what the factory tip would be. But no, the tube from the mufflers is 2.5" for the first 3/4" then goes to 3". The length of the stock tip is 9.5" from the back of the muffler to the end of the tip
