Is this a good deal for 20" Shelby Razors and tires?

On tirerack.com I found a set of 20X9 40mm offset, gun metal Shelby Razors (not the American Racing replicas) and 4 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires for $1740. That is including mounting and balancing, taxes, and shipping.

Does this sound like a pretty good deal?

I just got the exact same set up but with 24MM offset(price should be the same for both offsets) for $1150. out the door. FYI Dunlop has a $50. rebate on there web site if you buy 4 tires. I did a lot of searching and looked for a couple months for a good deal but I think you should be able to do better than $1740.

American Racing makes the razors for Shelby. So I don't see them as replicas

True, but there are two different versions. The ones I want to get have "SHELBY" embossed on the wheel. The other one (which I call the replica) just has it printed on the wheel. You can tell a difference, and they are about $50 cheaper per wheel.

I believe that is just a photoshopped image for selling. They either have Shelby embossed for the Shelby version or they don't, the American Racing version. In fact AR is doing away with their version and just making the Razors in the Shelby version. If you are seeing something with Shelby painted on, it sounds like someone trying to make a quick deal. I have never seen them in person and I would stay away from them.

I found the second picture on summit racings website. I am just confused on which ones to get because they obviously look different and are priced accordingly.

Don't know if you have them in you area but this is were I got them:
http://www.kauffmantire.com/
They weren't in my immediate area but it was worth the 2 hour drive to get them at that price I thought. I originally emailed them to check availability and to see if they could beat the best price I had gotten and they could have them next day and were eager to earn my business. They charged me $131.00 for the tires and 199.00 for the wheels mounted, balanced and ready to go. Then to beat my price and cover the tax they gave me the $50.00 Dunlop rebate and about $175. in store coupons to make the deal. I already had bought locking lugs at the local auto parts store for about $25.00 so I didn't ask them if they had them or would include them.

That's the early photoshop of the wheel. Shelby is embossed on all Shelby Razors. American Racing still uses that same picture but the detail says embossed. The only Shelby Razor that was not embossed was the prototype. It was the standard AR version with a Carrol Shelby signature decal on one spoke. Trust me those are the same wheel. Cheapest I've seen the Razors is 575 shipped. The Shelby version was $660. You see them on ebay from time to time.

I ordered my Razors from Summit Racing and they are just like the ones in the first pic. There's no such thing as a Razor with the word Shelby just printed on it.

company called Extreme Customs out of Wisconsin. Unfortionately i had to cancel the order, he mistakenly had the 12MM offset rims rather than the 24MM, and the 24's are the ones I want, and the guy called shelby and the 24MM offset shelby razors in chrome are BACKORDERED till end of May beginning of June. no lugs, why do you need lugs??

so now I'm trying to find a place that has the wheels in stock along with Nitto Tires and can match that price or around $1800 shipped.
