Glass roof Mustang at dealer
Stopped by dealer to check out info on the 08' and they had this in the showroom just in front of the Shelby Blackjack. For a coupe this is cool. Sorry about the last photo but the flash did not go off and did not notice it until I got home.

Its tinted pretty dark, look at pic 3 between the glass and the ceiling.
also in the 4th photo of the rear, there is another set of brake lights at the roof line.

Holy fry up some eggs on the seats batman! It may be tinted, but I guarantee it will be oven-like in the hot sun. It would be nice if they had a removable panel to block it off when you're not in the mood to look straight up.

The CDC one has gigantic mouldings all around the windows to make up for the height difference(like the doorstop moulding at the top of the windshield in the pics), and huge bulky A-pillar trim that makes the windshield look 'recessed' about 1/2 inch. Its extremely clumsy looking and I have a vendor that does them. We get shakers and other CDC stuff but not the glass roof.
The Saleen glass roof however, is perfectly flush and looks incredible.

Probably because of the cost, and I dont think it would be an option that would sell very well. I believe that they had a moonroof option on a model of the fox body's but it didnt sell very good. Besides that, there's probably a strength issue with having a hole in the roof like that.

I know of 2 in Kansas City that had their dealer install a moonroof/sunroof and they are nice. I would have opted for a moonroof from the factory but Ford has never done this option. Only T-tops in the early to mid 1980's.

I like the new trim style on the updated glassback. I had one sent off yesterday to get converted. Plain jane alloy coupe, adding the glassback and one of the sets of marauder 18's we have stocked up, should look pretty darn good
