GEF Racing Spoiler

R.J. thanks for the update. I have been waiting for someone to get one of these and mount it to their car. I can't wait to see it installed. This will help me confirm my choice to go with this spoiler. 1 question, does the kit come with directions and a stencil for mounting this on a car that doesn't have a factory spoiler. Thanks for the answer. Can't wait to see it finished.

I was thinking of getting a replacement trunklid with the holes drilled, so that if I wanted to I could still go back to the spoiler delete look without worrying about the holes. I don't know how much a new trunklid would be though. Just a thought.

kit comes with spoiler and thats it! Not even some sort of a gasket to go on the bottom of the wing. (I guess I'll get one from somewhere else or make one) Just thought I would use something to go between the spoiler and the trunk lid to prevent the spoiler from scratching the paint.

Just received my spoiler today. The paint and prep was of very poor quality. Appears to be dimples that need to be filled in and particles in the paint. I will have to get it repainted by a body shop. I guess I should have ordered it unpainted. Oh well, live and learn. Anyone know a good painter in the Chicago area?

I would call them, and ask for money back for the paint!

OK guys. I got the legend spoiler 4 days ago and installed it and love the look! Installation was tight but fit nicely. Be careful when installing. Remember, the spoiler is hollow and large and will hot withstand heavy torqing. It is solid construction though and have no compaints about the quality. Had it pre-painted and the paint match is perfect (satin silver). Did find a small imperfection on the bottom side. Its like a small indention in the paint even though it is all painted, about 1/4 of an ich long and 1/72 of an inch wide. Would have to have bionic eyes like mine to see it The fit is perfect. No irregular lines down the contact point to the trunk and there is minimal space between the ends of the spoiler and the body of the care. When you take off the factory spoiler, there is black adhesive tape around the screw holes. When you take the spoiler off, half the black tape stays stuck to the trunk. I just left it there and installed right on top of it. It padded the contact point fine and also allowed for the tightest fit possible . My car is in the shop right now growing goodies . Ill get a few pics for everyone in 3 or 4 days.
ROCK ON!!!!!

well one good thing has come from this instead of me putting my money out on the spoiler I have instead ordered SLP loudmouths. Maybe next month for the spoiler hopefully by then there will be MANY pics.
