Fryguys Painted Stripes

I figured I would wait to start this thread until sts767 was done with his.

I dropped my car off on Monday and have been watching it be worked on every day. The body shop that I am using posts pics on their site for the customer to view. In case you may want to watch the progress, here is a link: http://www.dakuautobody.com/webview/6900.htm

Here are some shots of mine. Doing 10.5" wide stripes with 1.5" gap. Color will be Ford 2005 Mustang Performance White.

Day 1...

Jeff, your car is looking very good. Can't wait to see how it looks when its done. Since your from Southampton, you should bring it out to the Pep Boys in Warminster on Street Rd, on the second Saturday in October. Its their last cruise night for the season. I've been going there every month. Nice cars, and great people, and a nice little show. I'd like to see your car all done in person if you'd be interested in stopping up?

Oh, I'm sorry, I was thinking you were from Southampton, not Northampton. My appologies. Anyhow, its a fun little show to go to, just to get out, and see other nice cars. Just wanted to pass it along to you.

Just spoke with the shop and it looks like it is going to be Monday.

That is cool with me, it looks like they are doing it right.

Oh, and the best part is that it looks to be comining under what they estimated the cost to be

Looks real good... your vision of your car is similar to mine. I have the Shinoda from spoiler and the 3D Carbon rear spoiler and the MRT side louvers on mine. I'm liking what I see!

Jeff, your car looks great! Are you happy with their work? I'm looking to get the middle of my hood blacked out (like on the old Torinos) and my regular bodyman gave me all sorts of reasons why he didn't want to do it.

Impressive paint work by your body shop, very nice.

I love the spacing and width you went with. I've been debating whether or not to stripe my 05 windveil blue with silver stripes, and your setting is about what I was aiming for.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? I know it was more than just a paint job, but I'm curious since it seems like your shop did a very nice job.
