There a reason you can't use the 94-04 Mustang Rims? The rim should only stick out about a half inch further. If I understand the concept of offset correctly.

The wheels look great, hurry up and get them on your car. I really want to see how this turns out.

1/2" is a lot when you're talking wheel placement.

Mustang Tuning has them:
Bullitt Center Cap
Somehow I completely missed your post yesterday. It would have saved me a lot of aggrivation last night when I was trying to find out what would fit.
MustangTuning is a little over priced, but it says the caps "will fit the FR500 with minor modifications." So it seems they know what will fit and what won't. I'll call them tomorrow to find out what has to be done.
Thanks!

Not sure who Judge Smails is, but I'm in the same boat as everyone else.
The tires should be in today. If they come in early enough (wheels were delivered at 9AM) they'll be put on TODAY.

As for pics, you guys will be sick of seeing my car once they're put on.

EDIT: Just checked UPS and as of 9PM last night they were all in Montgomery, AL which is about 2 hours away. They're right on schedule. Now the only question is, will they be in the front of the truck (late delivery) or the back (early delivery)?

Let's GO while we're YOUNG!

I am literally waiting for your pictures before I order those rims. Since you have waited sooooooooo long to put them on, I will not be able to get them shipped here and installed this weekend. I hope you're happy.

OK, so you own a Mustang, and I respect you for that. But the fact that you cannot recite Caddyshack line by line makes me question your sanity as well as your moral values. Go buy the movie and watch it repeatedly until your tires come in. Then tell me how much money the Judge tips Danny after he tells him to let Ty Webb know that he's gunning for him.

LOL. I picked up on it when Greg put the other quote in there. I'm terrible with names, but I promise I'm a pretty big Caddyshack fan. (but no, I don't know how much the tip was... $50?)

The tires are FINALLY here. It sux because when my wheels came in, I was out of town, but I thought I'd be able to get home in time since UPS normally delivers late to a residence. Nope. They dropped them off at 9AM. Now, today when I want them to deliver early, they don't get here until 5:45PM!

Oh well. The tires are in the garage and the wheels are at the tire shop. They open at 7AM central time. I'll be there at 6:45! I promise pics will follow soon after. (after I go show them off a little)

They look the same, but the '05 versions have a +36mm offset.
I assume they are coming out with those as well as chrome and polished, but I never asked. Call Greg at WheelReplicas. 888-445-4335.
Like I said before he gave me a great deal and even though he seems to be EXTREMELY busy, I was happy with the customer service.

MustangTuning has pictures of the other finishes that are available for 94-04.

http://www.mustangracing.com/, http://www.mustangtuning.com/ and http://www.partshopper.com/ all have them on their websites now. MRT and Partshopper are cheaper than WheelReplicas by about $10 per wheel when you include shipping.

Check out this thread I just posted.
New Bullitts and FR500's now available

So, once again (and I did search) what is the weight? It seems no one knows for sure.

DANG!!! That's alot! The stock 17x8s are 21lbs, right?

Just goes to show you can't have it all. Great looks, low price= high weight. I really wanted to buy these when I get my 06 GT, but now I'm not sure. Just so you know, I'm speaking from experience... on my current car (97 z28) I bought 18x9.5 wheels for it several years ago and didn't even think about weight at the time, well the rears ended up being 10lbs each heavier than stock and boy did I feel it in acceleration.

But then again, I really don't want to spend $500 and up per wheel to get some light 18s.

Ahhhhh what to do!

Don't forget a lot of that extra weight has to do with the fact that it's a bigger wheel. 18x9's compared to 17x8's. That's a lot of extra metal.
