Maybe, but they don't look bad.

Not bad? I LOVE 'em. I just wish someone would make them for the '05. I'd get them before the car even got here!

OK. Just to add to the confusion, I contacted sperate dealer that sells the FR500 replicas. I played dumb (not too hard for me) and here's how it went.

StangNut: I love the FR500 replica wheels. Do you have any that will fit the '05 Mustang? (+45mm offset)If not do you know if they plan on coming out with any?

Dealer: maybe in 60-90 days

StangNut: Maybe or you know for sure?

Dealer: not for sure, hard to predict customs and import time.

StangNut: That implies that you know they are making them. I'm not as concerned with
"when" they will arrive as I am with IF they'll arrive.
I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. What I meant was are you sure this company
WILL be offering the FR500 replica wheel for the '05 Mustang?
Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Dealer: Sorry I can not confirm or deny.

Take that any way you want to. I'm just passing along the corespondence.

I think those are just center caps, you can replace them with something different if you want.

I would like to see them make something in a black chrome. I love that finish.

Black chrome on the left, regular chrome on the right.

THE FR500s ARE COMMING OUT FOR THE 05. (man, my caps musta been glued on). I have been keeping up with the status of the FR500s for the 05 and the many threads and thought I would share this with you. I just checked the MRT website and they say that the FR500s are comming soon. I think it is safe to say sooner or later (probablly within the next couple of months) the FR500s (replicas or not) will be made for the 05. I am going to call MRT tomorrow to squeeze out as much info as I can out of the people at MRT. Here is the link: MRT

Thanks for the heads up, Bhead32. I'm not sure I should get my hopes up after the roller coaster ride I've had with these wheels. I'll keep my fingers crossed, though. Let us know what you hear.

I called them back today and they still werent able to give me too much info. They said they should have been here a while ago but he says alow sixty days for them to arrive. He said that he was told they would be available for the 05 and hasnt heard otherwise. I guess we just have to wait and see...

I'm not sure about the Bullitts. Only asked about the FR500's.

MustangTuning just emailed me also. Said 1-2 months.

Just got off the phone with a guy from http://www.mustangtuning.com/ and he said the company that makes the replica FR500 wheels for them will also be making them for the '05. He said they were planning on having them by the end of this month, but now it looks like it'll be a little longer.
He also said they would be offering them in the same colors. Silver, black, anthracite, & chrome.
Sign me up!!

here's a link to the current wheels.
18" wheels

So, the F500B's in the Ford Parts Catalog don't fit the '05?? I was thinking about getting those.

If that was just a typo and you're asking about the current FR500's, the answer is yes... and no. They will physically fit on there, but they will will stick out 1.5" farther than the stock wheels.
Also, these wheels I've been talking about are only the replicas. I haven't heard anything about FRPP coming out with the real things for the '05.
