Guys, I was just looking at the description of the FR500 rims. description states 5.97" backspacing. i read somewhere on one of the posts that the offset for the '05 is 6". So will these rims fit the new stang?

Saw a 2005 black GT /Stick 5 speed with chrome 18" FR500 rims and a 04 Hood Scoop. The Hood scoop did not fit well, as you could see daylight under the front tips. he also dinged the hood putting it on. Of course, with black you can see it from a block away. the rims and tires looked sharp.

I'd like to see the FR500's on an '05.
