Cobra Style Wheels for 05 Stangs

GEFRACING has Cobra style wheels for the 05/06 Mustangs. They have pics of Mach 1 Chrome, Y2K Cobra R, the orig Cobra R, and 03 Cobra wheels on a Sonic Blue GT. Here's a little teaser.............

I am sure those wheels would be beautiful if properly displayed, but the first thought that came to mind when I saw the pic posted was( "wonder what it was towed in for?").

Those were posted here back when the first Mustangs became available. It's sad because not only did they use wheels with the wrong offset, they used the wrong tires. All the wheels and tires they mounted on that car are for an '04. That's why they look so small. 245/45/17's will not only screw up your speedometer, they just plain look stupid.

Right, and they stick out too much becasue of the wrong offset.

They just plain don't look right.

Bigger tires, the right offset and lower the car 1" and you might have something...

well not all cars look like 4x4's with the wrong offset and tires here isa pic of my 05 with Original 95 Cobra R 17x9 wheels with 275/50 Nitto 450's on all four corners.I think it looks retro and most people I talk with really like them Gives it a wider stance and improved the handling as far as I can tell. Also tire size has had no effect on speedo at all.

Those tires look HUGE! (talking about height not width)

Now those really look good. Got some meat on those bones...

I never cared much for the 20" rims with 1/2" sidewalls.
