Foose Hood--Warning not for everybody

Gang,
I just got the car back from the body shop...got the foose hood from CDC, roush fascia, SS center grille. I know the hood design is a little radical. But with the vert I never felt I could pull off the stripes. Please let me know what you think sorry for the crappy pics....Dont flame to bad!!!
Cheers!

They installed your side vents improperly on Roush fascia.the pieces go on the inside. My installer had to use strong adhesive to apply mine.3m tape didn't work. As far as the hood goes,I like it but am not crazy about the design. your rims look awesome and everything flows nicely.

Appreciate the Feedback.....but

I just want everyone to know what I was trying to capture. The pics don't do this hood justice. Here is the hood in raw form. I wanted to capture some of the lines in my paint scheme..
Cherrs!

I like it! Very different. I would like to see a pic from the front side a little further away to see the whole car. I think it works good with your color scheme.

Lightbulb ....

IMO think you should have had the entire center part painted in a matte black instead of outlining it. Then add a shaker hood and it would look sweet. Different strokes for different folks though. If you like it than nothing else matters. BTW I love the foose hood and would get one if it wasn't so expensive.

I like! Not everyone needs LeMans stripes! I do think the shaker woulda been cool, but it's still very nice. And hey, is that hood aluminum?! I bet it's lighter than my RKSport.

I think it all looks great. The wheels, the mirrors, the hood, the fascia, all of it. Except that stripe. I've always thought the Fang/Foose/Mach 1 style hood looked good, but, IMO, the stripe actually takes away from the lines of the hood.

I think the Roush front fascia looks great, of course... especially since you left off the chin spoiler. I would definitely have them put the "extractor" pieces (that's what Roush calls them) on there the way they're supposed to be. I had no problem using the supplied 3M tape for mine. They're not going anywhere.

The Roush Extractors were put on incorrectly!!!

Well,
Thanks to all with the keen eye. The extractor pieces were installed incorrectly. My wife and I kept staring at them thinking something wasn't right. I appreciate it....thanks. I knew not everyone was going to dig it. I just wanted to try something different.
Thanks again for the feedback.

love the color and hood, but... yeah, i am not sure about the black stripe. i would think either paint the whole thing black, or leave it plain... but i give you credit for trying to be different and not following the crowd.

I like your stripe! It drew my eyes to the contour lines of the hood.

Overall, the car looks real nice. I'm not so crazy about the hood design, though..

I like your car and, hood. I don't like that hood design on the 69-70 models but, the 05+ models make it look good.

I'd probably agree that I'd fill in the whole spear instead of outlining it but I like the whole look, really slick!
