fogless GT grills

Any line if a oem appearing fogless GT grill will ever be offered by anyone?

I love the GT front end, but I like the V6 grill alot more than the GT grill.

There must be a way.

It's not OEM looking but: www.jmsproductsinc.com (scroll down for 05). I was initially going to go with this - I really liked the "circular" style like what's on the Ford GT. I called them but they didn't have any of the material in stock and weren't in a hurry to order any.....

Yeah.... isn't that JMS place that place that Maverick on here went to let them use his car as a model for new parts and everything they produced was either a joke, horrible... or both??......

I don't know about that.
Like I said, they weren't in any hurry to order any materials to make one so maybe that was my good fortune?

Yes. I think that was them.

As for the original question, as far as I know (and I've been following this topic pretty closely) unfortunately, no one is even planning on making an OE style GT grille w/o fogs.

Here's the V6 grille in a GT mentioned above.

I'd love to see some close-up pics or talk to the owner because I tried to fit a V6 grille into my GT and it was no where near as close a fit as it appears to be in those pics.

I guess people like their fogs. I would luv to see a black billet grill for the GT with no fogs!

There are billet style grilles out there for the GT w/o the fogs. No one makes an actual billet grille though.

That's odd, I have one in my car.

Like I said, billet "style". Not actual billet.

Hmmm, with the fogless grills people may think you're a V6. I'm partial to the foglights, but that would make a great sleeper...

That's why I'd prefer an OE style one with w/o the pony also. Then put the tri-bar emblem off to the driver's side. It'd give it the look of a '65 Shelby.

Nice, where did you find that one?

Any chance of a matching lower?

Cervini's is an actual billet grille. Don't have pics of it painted black yet.

So that was cut from one solid piece of metal and it's all one piece? (i.e. billet)

It's looks good no matter what.

I've never seen a one-piece billet grille. The bars are billets. The Cervini has two vertical supports in the back welded to the horizontal bars, and it's all painted black except the brushed face.

If you know where I can see a one-piecer for any car, I'd be really curious what it looks like and how much it costs. I searched Google and could find no example of any other method of construction.

The point is, billet means something was cut from one solid piece of material.
The grille isn't made out of one piece of anything so it's not billet. Like I said, there aren't any billet grilles out there.

Technically, a billet is simply an unfinished bar of metal, not necessarily any particular size.

A machined one-piece grille would cost way too much to be economical. But good luck on your hunt.
