WEll I ordered new foglight bulbs for my 05 gt. Anyone that has changed these bulbs, what is the easiest way to get to them. I took off the radiator cover, and still didnt seem like I had enough room to get too them. Do you have to come from the bottom, details if possible. Thanks in advance. WEll got them in, thanks for the advice given
here are a couple crappy shots with my phone camera. One thing is for sure they are nice and brite and yellow. No need for the lense covers. I think that could actually make them less bright. Anyway thought I would show a couple of pics, even if they are crappy.

One of mine blew out with less than 100 miles on it. I had to remove radiator cover and 2 screws to loosen grille. You can then pull the top of the grille forward some. There still isn't much room to get your hand in there. I finally found it's easier to unplug the wire first before trying to turn the bulb.

Just a heads up If anyone does not want the hassle of changing them. The bulb and install would be covered under warranty.

ok i just ordered

2x"Xenon H13 (9008) Metal White bulb 60/55W"

for my headlamps and

2x"NOKYA Arctic White Pro Halogen H10 (9145) (Stage II)"

bulbs for my fog lamps. Ive had good experiences with light with xenon bulbs in the past and i hope these nokya bulbs are good. These should light up the road better than the stock bulbs and wont cost me 1200 bucks for HID's. if these dont work i think im gonna save for the HIDs lol

Dan, I did just what Robyn did when i installed my Nokya yellow fogs. I used needle nose pliers to hold the assembly when I did reinstall. It made it a little easier to manuver. Its a little tight, but still only took less than 20 minutes

WEll thatnks for the advice. Got them in with the two bolts loosened. Man thats a bit of a tight fit for someone with big hands. Of course I lost two of the retaining pins for the radiator cover. Now something else I have to buy. I am interested in how those h13 turn out for you. Please let us know what they look like when you get them in. I was looking at nokya's h13 due to be out any day. Well thanks again they look great. I have to wait till this evening to get a good idea if I want the yellow covers as well. But I think they will stay the same , well see. Oh yah i had better luck with passenger side by unplugging first then doing it through lower spoiler hole. hard to get bulb straight into slot if going from top, but just stick your hands from opening below license plate and goes right too it.

well.. b4 I begin I know some peopl e who are ****.. will be like "oh but those are not retro fotted and blah bal blah....".. I got the kit from a guy in taiwan.. off ebay.. $500.00 shipped.. and remember these are Philips bulbs and ballasts.. which i have read and researched are pretty much the best ones you can buy.. shipping was pretty fast all the way from there and the best part is the guy answers all your emails and questions. Then I had a local stero place install them.. you could do it yourself.. no splicing needed.. the hardest thing is figuring out where to place the ballasts... it makes a word of diferene... a bunch of us stang owners were driving on the highway and they all said no matter how fast i had gone they knew where i was cause my HID's just lit up the road....you can getter some cheaper kits on ebay.. just make sure the merchants have a good feedback rating.. but for my money.. philips are great... the one bad thing is they are so bright and white they made the factory headlights yellow as heck.. so I'm gonna have to get a ap pair of those bulbs.. too bad they dont sell them in pairs...

Well the upgrade turned out awesome, I will try and take some pics tonite when they are yellow. I love em. I think I like them better with out the yellow covers, get plenty bright and make seeing even better. Thanks for the advice on install, a little tight, but got it done. I did notice, that you can actually put your hand below license plate where lower grill has opening and reach them. So for big hands maybe undo wire up top and remove from below. Good luck to all, they do really look nice at night tho. I dont need them to look yellow during day. Thanks again.
